Terms and Conditions

Orders

All orders placed at Marquis Security will be processed and shipped by Marquis Security. Your credit card statement will reflect a charge from Marquis Security.

Marquis Security will accept orders via our online order form, postal mail, email, telephone, or by facsimile. Orders will not be processed until payment is received. If payment is made by personal or business check, the order will not be processed until the check clears our bank. By placing an order, the buyer represents that they are of legal age to receive the products/equipment ordered and that the products/equipment will only be used in a legal and lawful manner in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Orders cannot be canceled once received/processed. Marquis Security does not accept COD orders. International buyers are wholly responsible for any import licensing requirements, custom duties, and import restrictions. It is the international buyer's responsibility to ascertain destination country laws, regulations, and customs prior to ordering.

Payment

Payment may be made by money order, cashier check, bank check, personal check, business check, wire transfer, Western Union, Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit Card, MasterCard Debit Card, Discover, and American Express. Payment for all international orders must be payable in USA funds and collectible in a USA bank. International orders require payment via wire transfer. Please do not send cash with your order as Marquis Security cannot be responsible for cash payments made through the mail.

Shipping

A base shipping, handling, and insurance (SHI) charge of $22.00 applies to all orders shipped to a destination within the continental United States unless otherwise indicated. A base SHI charge of $42.00 applies to all orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii unless otherwise indicated. Orders for large bulky items such as surveillance monitors are subject to an additional SHI charge. If in doubt regarding the SHI charge of a particular product or piece of equipment, please send us an e-mail. All orders of in-stock items are shipped via UPS, Federal Express, courier, or freight. The method of shipment is at the discretion of the seller, however most orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Expedited shipping is available at additional cost. It is the buyer's responsibility to check all received orders for damage prior to acceptance from the carrier as any products/equipment damaged in transit is the responsibility of the carrier and a claim for damaged products/equipment should be filed with the carrier. Any delay in filing a claim with the carrier may result in a loss to the buyer. All orders ship via FOB-Origin. Our responsibility for products/equipment ceases when the shipment of said products/equipment leaves our facility.

NOTE: Orders of in-stock items placed by telephone or online by 12:00PM PST ship the same day excluding weekends and holidays.

NOTE: All orders are shipped 'Direct Signature Required'. Signature cards on file are not acceptable.

Restricted Products/Equipment

Certain products/equipment are not available for sale to the general public. Restricted products/equipment are clearly denoted in the product description. To order a restricted item please submit a copy of your law enforcement ID with your written order, or submit your written order with a cover letter prepared on departmental or governmental agency letterhead.

Returns

Due to the nature of the products/equipment that we offer, all sales are final. However, you have 15 days to exchange any defective or damaged items. To be eligible for an exchange, the item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, with all original tags and packaging intact.

If you need to exchange a defective or damaged item, please contact our customer service team within 15 days of receiving your order. We will provide you with instructions on how to return the item and exchange it for a new one.

Please note that we do not offer refunds or exchanges for items that have been used, except in cases where the item is defective or damaged.
